Notice to our Customer
The media have named Monday the 19th ‘Freedom day’
However, we like many others have had a tough time throughout this pandemic and decided to do the following.
We at the Dog and Duck Outwood are looking forward to getting back to some kind of normality, with this in mind we have decided we are not going to place any stipulation on having to wear masks, however we do think it would be a good idea to wear masks when moving inside the pub area and as adults you can make the right decisions.
We will continue to have sanitisers around the pub area and will keep doors open for ventilation.
And our thorough cleaning regime will continue.
We will allow customers to come to the bar area and place orders but we would recommend when outside using the app provided as it really does speed up your service and orders.
Covid 19 is not going away anytime soon so please do respect others who may still wish to social distance.
We will be open on Mondays from 25th July
Our delightful pub in the heart of Outwood offers everything you would hope for from a quintessential traditional English pub. Charming, quaint and full of character, the Dog and Duck is set amongst hidden woodlands, lush green meadows, and the tranquil ponds of Harewoods National Trust.
We offer varied menus brimming with temptations, open fireplaces, cozy seating and a traditional dining room. We have a real love for honest English pub grub, coupled with a taste for well-kept traditional cask ales.

REVIEWS FROM OUR CUSTOMERS
The annual lunch for our local car club was held in the rear dining area, lovely room with country views through the picture windows. Excellent food very promptly served with all the food arriving at the same time for a group of over 30 people. Good choice of food with something for everyone and a very amiable host Waine, who looked after all our needs.
Recently visited this pub, warm & friendly hosts, best fish and chips ever, Sunday roasts also 5 star, plenty car parking, lovely garden, would recommend this pub to anyone.
