Notice to our Customer
We would like to thank all our loyal customer who have helped us rebuild in these uncertain times. The past few months have been very tough for the industry but without your support we wouldn’t be where we are today. We are also seeing a lot of new faces come through the door which always great to see.
We at the Dog & Duck are a family run pub with 3 generations involved in aspects of the pub with our strong bond we strive to make everybody’s stay with us warm welcoming and enjoyable.
We are into our 7th year running the Dog & Duck and growing we have added a new play area and now a new play ship. Also, the side area of our pub for a more relaxed atmosphere. The pub itself has had indoor renovation with the new dog house at the front of the pub, new carpets and decorated fully inside.
Due to ongoing high demand from our kitchen, we have decided to expand our outside menu for outside customers.
We look forward to welcoming old and new customers and hope you enjoy you visit with us.
The Dog and Duck Management Team
Our delightful pub in the heart of Outwood offers everything you would hope for from a quintessential traditional English pub. Charming, quaint and full of character, the Dog and Duck is set amongst hidden woodlands, lush green meadows, and the tranquil ponds of Harewoods National Trust.
We offer varied menus brimming with temptations, open fireplaces, cozy seating and a traditional dining room. We have a real love for honest English pub grub, coupled with a taste for well-kept traditional cask ales.

REVIEWS FROM OUR CUSTOMERS
The annual lunch for our local car club was held in the rear dining area, lovely room with country views through the picture windows. Excellent food very promptly served with all the food arriving at the same time for a group of over 30 people. Good choice of food with something for everyone and a very amiable host Waine, who looked after all our needs.
Recently visited this pub, warm & friendly hosts, best fish and chips ever, Sunday roasts also 5 star, plenty car parking, lovely garden, would recommend this pub to anyone.
